After the success of the 2007 Summer School Green Machine about sustainability and architecture, the 4th Summer School of the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture and Urban Design will take the theme of sustainable urban development. Together with leading Dutch and international experts participants work on a new, green future for the site of the Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maatschappij – a huge former shipyard – and Tuindorp Heijplaat – one of the Netherlands’ oldest garden villages
